Adhyāya 353 — Kathā-prāmāṇya (Authority of Transmission) and the Brāhmaṇa’s Ascetic Resolve

एतत्‌ ते कथितं पुत्र यथावदनुपृच्छत: । सांख्यज्ञाने तथा योगे यथावदनुवर्णितम्‌

Transliteration

etat te kathitaṃ putra yathāvad anupṛcchataḥ | sāṅkhyajñāne tathā yoge yathāvad anuvarṇitam ||

Translation

ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— ಓ ಪುತ್ರ, ನೀನು ಯಥಾವಿಧಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೇಳಿದ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗೆ ಅನುಗುಣವಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಇದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ವಿವರಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಇದೇ ವಿಷಯ ಸಾಂಖ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ವರ್ಣಿತವಾಗಿದೆ.
