मत्तो जगज्जड़मं स्थावरं च सर्वे वेदा: सरहस्या हि पुत्र,पुत्र! मुझसे यह चराचर जगत् तथा रहस्यसहित सम्पूर्ण वेद प्रकट हुए हैं
matto jagaj-jaḍaṁ sthāvaraṁ ca sarve vedāḥ sa-rahasyā hi putra putra |
ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— ನನ್ನಿಂದಲೇ ಈ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಚರಾಚರ ಜಗತ್ತು—ಜಡವೂ ಚೇತನವೂ, ಸ್ಥಾವರವೂ ಜಂಗಮವೂ—ಉದ್ಭವಿಸಿದೆ; ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅಂತರರಹಸ್ಯಗಳೊಡನೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವೇದಗಳೂ ನನ್ನಿಂದಲೇ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗಿವೆ, ಓ ಪುತ್ರ, ಓ ಪೌತ್ರ.
