कामं स तव तुष्टात्मा कुर्याच्छापविमो क्षणम् । “राजन! तुम ब्रह्मण्यदेव भगवान् विष्णुके भक्त हो और वे श्रीहरि देवता तथा असुर सबके गुरु हैं। उनका मन तुमपर संतुष्ट है; इसलिये वे तुम्हारी इच्छाके अनुसार तुम्हें अवश्य शापसे मुक्त कर देंगे
kāmaṃ sa tava tuṣṭātmā kuryāc chāpavimokṣaṇam |
ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ರಾಜನೇ! ಯಾರ ಹೃದಯವು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ತೃಪ್ತವಾಗಿದೆವೋ, ಆ ಭಗವಂತನು ಇಚ್ಛಿಸಿದರೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಶಾಪದಿಂದ ವಿಮೋಚಿಸಬಲ್ಲನು.
