एकस्तु शब्दो वितत: श्रुतो5स्माभिरुदीरित:

Transliteration

ekas tu śabdo vitataḥ śruto 'smābhir udīritaḥ | puṇḍarīkākṣa! tava jayaḥ | viśvabhāvana! te praṇāmaḥ | mahāpuruṣāṇām api pūrvaja hṛṣīkeśa! te namaḥ ||

Translation

ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—“ನಾವು ಒಂದೇ ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದೆವು; ಅದು ಉಚ್ಚಸ್ವರದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಚ್ಚರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ದೂರದೂರಕ್ಕೆ ಹರಡುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು—‘ಪುಂಡರೀಕಾಕ್ಷ! ನಿನಗೆ ಜಯ. ವಿಶ್ವಭಾವನ! ನಿನಗೆ ಪ್ರಣಾಮ. ಮಹಾಪುರುಷಗಳಿಗೂ ಪೂರ್ವಜನಾದ ಹೃಷೀಕೇಶ! ನಿನಗೆ ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ.’”
