अध्याय ३३७ — ज्ञानमार्ग-वैविध्यप्रश्नः तथा व्यासस्य नारायणोद्भवकथा

बृहस्पतिस्तत:ः क्रुद्धः ख्तुचमुद्यम्य वेगित: । आकाशं घ्नन् खुच: पातै रोषादश्रूण्यवर्तयत्
Bṛhaspatis tataḥ kruddhaḥ khvucaṁ udyamya vegitaḥ | ākāśaṁ ghnan khvucaḥ pātaiḥ roṣād aśrūṇy avartayat ||
ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಇದನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಬೃಹಸ್ಪತಿ ಕ್ರೋಧದಿಂದ ಉರಿದನು. ಅವನು ವೇಗವಾಗಿ ಖ್ವುಚವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಆಕಾಶದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮರುಮರು ಹೊಡೆದನು; ರೋಷಾವೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿಂದ ಕಣ್ಣೀರೂ ಹರಿಯಿತು.
