तद् दृष्टवा महदाश्चर्यमपूर्व विधिविस्तरम् । उपोपविष्ट: सुप्रीतो नारदो भगवानृषि:,उनके द्वारा शास्त्रविधिका यह अपूर्व विस्तार और अत्यन्त आश्चर्यजनक व्यवहार देखकर उनके पास ही बैठे हुए देवर्षि भगवान् नारद अत्यन्त प्रसन्न हुए
tad dṛṣṭvā mahad āścaryam apūrva-vidhi-vistaram | upopaviṣṭaḥ suprīto nārado bhagavān ṛṣiḥ ||
ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—“ಆ ಮಹದಾಶ್ಚರ್ಯವನ್ನು—ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರವಿಧಿಯ ಅಪೂರ್ವ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿವರವಾದ ಆಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು—ನೋಡಿ, ಸಮೀಪದಲ್ಲೇ ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದ ದೇವರ್ಷಿ ಭಗವಾನ್ ನಾರದನು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸಂತುಷ್ಟನಾದನು.”
