तदेतत् सम्प्रदृश्यैव कर्म भूमिं प्रपश्यत: । शुभान्याचरितव्यानि परलोकमभीप्सता,इहलोक कर्मभूमि है--ऐसा समझकर इसकी ओर देखते हुए दिव्य लोकोंकी इच्छा रखनेवाले पुरुषको शुभ कर्मोंका ही आचरण करना चाहिये
tad etat sampradṛśyaiva karma-bhūmiṁ prapaśyataḥ | śubhāny ācaritavyāni paralokam abhīpsatā ||
ಈ ಲೋಕವನ್ನು ಕರ್ಮಭೂಮಿಯೆಂದು ಅರಿತು, ಆ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದಲೇ ಅದನ್ನು ನೋಡುವ ಪರಲೋಕಾಭಿಲಾಷಿಯು ಕೇವಲ ಶುಭಕರ್ಮಗಳನ್ನೇ ಆಚರಿಸಬೇಕು.
