देवतापितृप्रश्नः — Nārada at Badarīāśrama: the ultimate referent of daiva and pitṛ worship
न तेषां भवता कार्य न कार्य तव तैरपि । स्वकृतैस्तानि यातानि भवांश्वैव गमिष्यति,न उनका तुम कुछ कर सकते हो और न वे तुम्हारे किसी काम आ सकते हैं। वे अपने कर्मोके साथ चले गये और तुम भी चले जाओगे
na teṣāṃ bhavatā kārya na kārya tava tair api | svakṛtais tāni yātāni bhavāṃś caiva gamiṣyati ||
ವ್ಯಾಸನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಈಗ ನೀನು ಅವರಿಗಾಗಿ ಏನನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಲಾರೆ; ಅವರೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಯಾವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಉಪಯೋಗವಾಗಲಾರರು. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ಮಫಲಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನೀನೂ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗುವೆ.
