Impermanence, Svabhāva, and Śuka’s Resolve for Yoga
याज़्ञवल्क्य उवाच कृत्स्नधारिणमेव त्वां मन्ये गन्धर्वसत्तम । जिज्ञाससे च मां राजंस्तन्निबोध यथाश्रुतम्
yājñavalkya uvāca | kṛtsnadhāriṇam eva tvāṃ manye gandharvasattama | jijñāsase ca māṃ rājan tan nibodha yathāśrutam ||
ಯಾಜ್ಞವಲ್ಕ್ಯನು ಹೇಳಿದರು— ಹೇ ಗಂಧರ್ವಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ, ನೀನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಬೋಧವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿದವನೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಭಾವಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಆದರೂ, ಹೇ ರಾಜನ್, ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿ ನನ್ನ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯಲು ಬಯಸುತ್ತೀ; ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಕೇಳು— ನಾನು ಕೇಳಿದಂತೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.
