Transliteration

prīto ’svo nṛpa satkārair bhavadārjavasambhṛtaiḥ | āvabhyām abhyanujñāto varaṁ nṛvara cintaya ||

Translation

ನಾರದನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—“ಓ ನೃಪನೇ! ನಿನ್ನ ಸರಳತೆ ಮತ್ತು ನೇರತೆಯಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿದ ಸತ್ಕಾರಗಳಿಂದ ನಾವುಿಬ್ಬರೂ ಬಹಳ ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ, ನಮ್ಮ ಅನುಮತಿಯಿಂದ, ಓ ನೃವರನೇ, ನಿನಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾದ ವರವನ್ನು ಯೋಚಿಸಿ ಬೇಡು.”
