पितामहमश्न मे पूर्वमृष्यशृद्भश्च काश्यप: । वेदस्ताण्ड्य: कृपश्चैव कक्षीवान् कमठादय:
pitāmaham aśnan me pūrvam ṛṣyaśṛṅgaś ca kāśyapaḥ | vedas tāṇḍyaḥ kṛpaś caiva kakṣīvān kamaṭhādayaḥ ||
ಪರಾಶರನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಹಿಂದಿನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಊಟ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ನನ್ನ ಪಿತಾಮಹ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು; ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಋಷ್ಯಶೃಂಗ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಶ್ಯಪ, ವೇದ, ತಾಂಡ್ಯ, ಕೃಪ, ಕಕ್ಷೀವಾನ್, ಕಮಠ ಮೊದಲಾದವರೂ ಇದ್ದರು.
पराशर उवाच
