ववौ सुख: शिवो वायुर्नानागन्धवह: शुचि: । सर्वर्तुकुसुमोपेता: पुष्पवन्तो टद्रुमास्तथा,वहाँ नाना प्रकारकी सुगन्धको फैलानेवाली, पवित्र, सुखद एवं मंगलमयी वायु चलती रहती थी। सभी ऋतुओंके फूलोंसे सुशोभित होनेवाले खिले हुए वृक्ष उस शिखरकी शोभा बढ़ाते थे

Transliteration

vavau sukhaḥ śivo vāyur nānāgandhavahaḥ śuciḥ | sarvartukusumopetāḥ puṣpavanto tad-drumās tathā ||

Translation

ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನಾವಿಧ ಸುಗಂಧವನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತು ತರುವ, ಪವಿತ್ರ, ಸುಖದ ಮತ್ತು ಮಂಗಳಕರವಾದ ಗಾಳಿ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಬೀಸುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಎಲ್ಲ ಋತುಗಳ ಹೂಗಳಿಂದ ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ, ಪುಷ್ಪಭಾರದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದ ಮರಗಳು ಆ ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಖರದ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು.
