श्रेयो-धर्मकर्मविचारः

Inquiry into Śreyas, Dharma, and Karma

शुद्धां गतिं तां परमां परैति शुद्धेन नित्यं मनसा विचिन्वन्‌ । ततोडव्ययं स्थानमुपैति ब्रह्म दुष्प्रापमभ्येति स शाश्वतं वै

śuddhāṃ gatiṃ tāṃ paramāṃ paraiti śuddhena nityaṃ manasā vicinvan | tato 'vyayaṃ sthānam upaiti brahma duṣprāpam abhyeti sa śāśvataṃ vai ||

ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— ಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಸದಾ ಆ ನಿರ್ಮಲ ಪರಮಗತಿಯನ್ನು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಚಿಂತಿಸುವ ಸಾಧಕನು ಅದನ್ನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ. ನಂತರ ಅವನು ಅವ್ಯಯ, ದುಷ್ಪ್ರಾಪ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾದ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಪದವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದು ಅದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ದೃಢವಾಗಿ ಸ್ಥಿರನಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ.
