कालनियमः शोकशमनं च
Kāla as Regulator; Pacification of Grief
तस्माद् बुद्धान्ति पुरुषा न हि तत् कस्यचिद् ध्रुवम् | श्रद्धधानस्ततो लोको दद्याच्चैव यजेत च
tasmād buddhānti puruṣā na hi tat kasyacid dhruvam | śraddadhānas tato loko dadyāc caiva yajeta ca ||
ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳು ತಿಳಿಯುತ್ತಾರೆ—ಧನವು ಯಾರ ಬಳಿಯೂ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾವಂತನು ಆ ಧನವನ್ನು ದಾನಮಾಡಬೇಕು, ಯಜ್ಞದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ವಿನಿಯೋಗಿಸಬೇಕು—ಕ್ಷಣಭಂಗುರ ಸಂಪತ್ತನ್ನು ಶಾಶ್ವತ ಪುಣ್ಯಕ್ಕೂ ಲೋಕಹಿತಕ್ಕೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕು.
