अधर्मो नास्ति ते मृत्यो संयच्छेमा: प्रजा: शुभे | मया हाक्त मृषा भद्रे भविता नेह किंचन
adharmo nāsti te mṛtyo saṁyacchemāḥ prajāḥ śubhe | mayā hy uktaṁ mṛṣā bhadre bhavitā neha kiṁcana ||
ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— “ಓ ಮೃತ್ಯುವೇ! ನಿನಗೆ ಅಧರ್ಮವು ಸೇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಓ ಶುಭೇ! ಈ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸು. ಓ ಭದ್ರೇ! ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತು ಯಾವುದೂ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಸುಳ್ಳಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.”
