अहिंसा-प्रधान धर्मविचारः
Ahiṃsā as the Superior Dharma: Practical and Scriptural Reasoning
एवमुक्ता महाबाहो मृत्यु: परपुरंजय । न व्याजहार तस्थौ च प्रह्मा भगवदुन्मुखी
evam uktā mahābāho mṛtyuḥ parapuraṃjaya | na vyājahāra tasthau ca brahmā bhagavad-unmukhī ||
ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— ಓ ಮಹಾಬಾಹೋ, ಓ ಶತ್ರುಪುರಂಜಯ ರಾಜನೇ! ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ ಮೃತ್ಯು ಒಂದು ಮಾತನ್ನೂ ಆಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನ ಕಡೆ ಮುಖಮಾಡಿ ಕೈಜೋಡಿಸಿ ಮೌನವಾಗಿ ನಿಂತಳು।
