कामबन्धन-निवृत्ति तथा शान्तिलक्षण-उपदेशः | Release from Desire-Bondage and the Marks of Peace
कुम्भधान्यैरुञ्छशिलै: कापोतीं चास्थितास्तथा । यस्मिंश्वैते वसन्त्यहस्तिद् राष्ट्रमभिवर्धते
kumbhadhānyair uñchaśilaiḥ kāpotīṁ cāsthitās tathā | yasmiṁś caite vasanty ahastid rāṣṭram abhivardhate ||
ಕುಂಭಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಪ ಅಲ್ಪ ಧಾನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ, ಅಥವಾ ಉಞ್ಛ-ಶಿಲವಾಗಿ ಚದುರಿದ ಕಾಳುಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಕೊಯ್ಲಿನ ನಂತರ ಉಳಿದ ಕಂಬಿಗಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಅನ್ನವನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿ, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ‘ಕಾಪೋತೀ-ವೃತ್ತಿ’ಯನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿ ಬದುಕುವ ಪೂಜ್ಯ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣರು ಯಾವ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಾರೋ, ಆ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಪೀಡನವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿ ವೃದ್ಧಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
