लोक वृत्तान्ततत्त्वज्ञ: पूतो5हं गुरुशासनात्‌ । कृत्वा बुद्धि विमुक्तात्मा द्रक्ष्याम्पात्मानमव्ययम्‌

Transliteration

loka-vṛttānta-tattvajñaḥ pūto 'haṃ guru-śāsanāt | kṛtvā buddhiṃ vimuktātmā drakṣyāmy ātmānam avyayam ||

Translation

ನಿಮ್ಮಂತಹ ಗುರುವಿನ ಉಪದೇಶದಿಂದ ನಾನು ಪವಿತ್ರನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಲೋಕವ್ಯವಹಾರದ ತತ್ತ್ವವನ್ನೂ ಅರಿತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಧರ್ಮಾಚರಣೆಯಿಂದ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಸಂಸ್ಕರಿಸಿ, ಸ್ಥೂಲದೇಹಾಭಿಮಾನವನ್ನು ತ್ಯಜಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನ ಅವಿನಾಶಿ ಆತ್ಮಸ್ವರೂಪವನ್ನು ದರ್ಶಿಸುವೆನು।
