Ātma-saṃyama-dharma: One-pointedness of Mind and Senses (शुक–व्यास संवादः)
अभिवाद्य गुरु ब्रूयादधीष्व भगवन्निति । इदं करिष्ये भगवन्निदं चापि कृतं मया
abhivādya guruṁ brūyād adhīṣva bhagavann iti | idaṁ kariṣye bhagavann idaṁ cāpi kṛtaṁ mayā ||
ಹೀಗೆ ಅಭಿವಾದನೆ ಮಾಡಿ, ಕೈಜೋಡಿಸಿ ಗುರುವಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕು—“ಭಗವನ್, ದಯವಿಟ್ಟು ನನಗೆ ಉಪದೇಶಿಸಿ. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಾನು ಈಗ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಾನು ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.”
