Yoga-kṛtya (योककृत्य) — Vyāsa on Sense-Restraint, Obstacles, and Brahman-Realization
अभिभूयेह चार्चिष्मद् व्यसृजत् सप्त मानसान् | दूरगं बहुधागामि प्रार्थनासंशयात्मकम्
abhibhūyeha cārciṣmad vyasṛjat sapta mānasān | dūragam bahudhāgāmi prārthanāsaṁśayātmakam ||
ವ್ಯಾಸನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲ ಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳನ್ನು ಅಭಿಭವಿಸಿ ಆ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಯ ತತ್ತ್ವವು ಏಳು ಮಾನಸ ಋಷಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿತು. ಮನಸ್ಸು ದೂರಗಾಮಿ; ಅನೇಕ ವಿಧವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗಿ ಬರುವುದು; ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಶಯಸ್ವಭಾವದಿಂದ ಗುರುತಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟದ್ದು. ಆದರೂ ಚೈತನ್ಯದಿಂದ ಸಂಯುಕ್ತವಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ವಶಪಡಿಸಿ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
