Yoga-kṛtya (योककृत्य) — Vyāsa on Sense-Restraint, Obstacles, and Brahman-Realization
ऋषयस्तपसा वेदानध्यैषन्त दिवानिशम् । अनादिनिधना विद्या वागुत्सृष्टा स्वयम्भुवा
ṛṣayas tapasā vedān adhyaiṣanta divāniśam | anādinidhanā vidyā vāg utsṛṣṭā svayambhuvā |
ತಪಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಸಮರ್ಥರಾದ ಋಷಿಗಳು ಹಗಲು-ರಾತ್ರಿ ವೇದಗಳನ್ನು ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಆದಿ-ಅಂತವಿಲ್ಲದ ಆ ವೈದಿಕ ವಿದ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವಯಂಭೂ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನು ಪವಿತ್ರ ವಾಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮೊದಲಾಗಿ ಉಚ್ಚರಿಸಿದನು.
