नापत्रपश्च युक्तश्न नियुक्त: श्रेयसे परै: । अभेत्ता परगुह्यानां तस्मात्‌ सर्वत्र पूजित:,नारदजी निर्लज्ज नहीं हैं। दूसरोंकी भलाईके लिये सदा उद्यत रहते हैं; इसीलिये दूसरे लोग उन्हें अपने कल्याणकारी कार्योमें लगाये रखते हैं तथा वे किसीके गुप्त रहस्यको कहीं प्रकट नहीं करते हैं; इसीलिये उनका सर्वत्र सम्मान होता है

Transliteration

nāpatrapaś ca yuktaśna niyuktaḥ śreyase paraiḥ | abhettā paraguhyānāṃ tasmāt sarvatra pūjitaḥ ||

Translation

ಅವನು ನಿರ್ಲಜ್ಜನಲ್ಲ; ಆಚರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಯಮಬದ್ಧನು, ಆಹಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಿತಭೋಜಿ. ಇತರರ ಶ್ರೇಯಸ್ಸಿಗಾಗಿ ಜನರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಯೋಜಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವನು ನಿಜವಾದ ಹಿತದಲ್ಲಿ ತತ್ಪರನು. ಪರರ ಗುಪ್ತಗಳನ್ನು ಬಹಿರಂಗಪಡಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಸರ್ವತ್ರ ಪೂಜಿತನು.
