साहं वै पड़कजे जाता सूर्यरश्मिविबोधिते । भूत्यर्थ सर्वभूतानां पद्मा श्री: पच्ममालिनी
śakra uvāca | sāhaṃ vai paṅkaje jātā sūryaraśmivibodhitē | bhūtyarthaṃ sarvabhūtānāṃ padmā śrīḥ padmamālinī ||
ಶಕ್ರನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— ಸೂರ್ಯಕಿರಣಗಳಿಂದ ಅರಳಿದ ಪದ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಪ್ರಾದುರ್ಭವಿಸಿದೆ. ಸರ್ವಭೂತಗಳ ಕ್ಷೇಮ-ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಗಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಪ್ರಕಟವಾದೆ; ನನ್ನ ನಾಮಗಳು ಪದ್ಮಾ, ಶ್ರೀ, ಪದ್ಮಮಾಲಿನಿ.
