ननृतुस्तत्र गन्धर्वा: घट सहस्राणि सप्तधा | एक समय था
nanṛtus tatra gandharvāḥ ghaṭa-sahasrāṇi saptadhā |
ಶಕ್ರನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—“ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಗಂಧರ್ವರು ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಏಳು ಗುಂಪುಗಳಾಗಿ ವಿನ್ಯಾಸಗೊಂಡು ನೃತ್ಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಒಂದು ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆಗೆ ರತ್ನಭೂಷಿತವಾದ ವಿಶಾಲ ಸ್ವರ್ಣಛತ್ರವು ಹರಡಿಕೊಂಡಿತ್ತು; ಆರು ಸಾವಿರ ಗಂಧರ್ವರು ಸಪ್ತಸ್ವರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾನಮಾಡುತ್ತ ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ತಮ್ಮ ನೃತ್ಯಕಲೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.”
