बलीन्द्रसंवादः — Kāla, Anityatā, and the Limits of Agency

Mahābhārata 12.217

अन्तकाले बलोत्कर्षाच्छनै: कुर्यादनातुर: । एवं युक्तेन मनसा ज्ञानं यदुपपद्यते

antakāle balotkarṣāc chanaiḥ kuryād anāturaḥ | evaṁ yuktena manasā jñānaṁ yad upapadyate ||

ಜೀವನದ ಅಂತಿಮ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಶಾಂತನಾಗದವನು ತನ್ನ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಯೋಗಿಸಿ ನಿಧಾನವಾಗಿ ಮುಂದುವರಿಯಬೇಕು. ಯೋಗದಿಂದ ನಿಯಮಿತವಾದ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ದೊರಕಬಹುದಾದ ಯಥಾರ್ಥ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಕ್ರಮೇಣ ದೃಢವಾಗಿ ಸಂಪಾದಿಸಬೇಕು; ಪ್ರಾಣಾಂತವರೆಗೆ ಧೈರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಬಿಡಬಾರದು.
