अपना छा | अप्--#क+ षोडशाधिकद्विशततमो< ध्याय: स्वप्न और सुषुप्ति-अवस्थामें मनकी स्थिति तथा गुणातीत ब्रह्मकी प्राप्तिका उपाय भीष्म उवाच निष्कल्मषं ब्रह्म॒चर्यमिच्छता चरितुं सदा । निद्रा सर्वात्मना त्याज्या स्वप्रदोषानवेक्षता,भीष्मजी कहते हैं--राजन्‌! सदा निष्कलंक ब्रह्मचर्यव्रतका पालन करनेकी इच्छा रखनेवाले पुरुषको स्वप्नके दोषोंपर दृष्टि रखते हुए सब प्रकारसे निद्राका परित्याग कर देना चाहिये

Bhīṣma uvāca: niṣkalmaṣaṃ brahmacaryam icchatā carituṃ sadā | nidrā sarvātmanā tyājyā svapradoṣān avekṣatā ||

ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ರಾಜನೇ! ಸದಾ ನಿರ್ಮಲವಾದ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಚರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲು ಬಯಸುವವನು, ಸ್ವಪ್ನದಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾಗುವ ದೋಷಗಳನ್ನು ಮನನಮಾಡಿ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಿದ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ತ್ಯಜಿಸಬೇಕು.
