मनुरुवाच — इन्द्रिय-मनः-ज्ञान-क्रमः
Manu on the hierarchy of senses, mind, and knowledge
सत्यमग्निपरीचारो विविक्तानां च सेवनम्
bhīṣma uvāca | akṛtaprajño bālo mohaṃ gacchati jāpakaḥ | sa mohān nirayaṃ yāti tatra gatvānūśocati ||
ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಪರಿಪಕ್ವ ವಿವೇಕವಿಲ್ಲದ ಜಪಕನು ಬಾಲಕನಂತೆ ಜಪ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಮೋಹಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಆ ಮೋಹದ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಅವನು ನರಕವನ್ನು ಸೇರುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗಿ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಶೋಕಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
