Adhyāya 193: Adjudication of the Comparable Fruits of Japa and Yoga
उत्तर: पृथिवी भाग: सर्वपुण्यतम: शुभ: । इहस्थास्तत्र जायन्ते ये वै पुण्यकृतो जना:
uttaraḥ pṛthivī-bhāgaḥ sarva-puṇya-tamaḥ śubhaḥ | ihasthās tatra jāyante ye vai puṇya-kṛto janāḥ ||
ಭಾರದ್ವಾಜನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಪೃಥ್ವಿಯ ಉತ್ತರ ಭಾಗವು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪುಣ್ಯಮಯವೂ ಶುಭಮಯವೂ ಆಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಧರ್ಮಪೂರ್ವಕ ಪುಣ್ಯಕರ್ಮ ಮಾಡುವವರು ಮರಣಾನಂತರ ಆ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲೇ ಪುನರ್ಜನ್ಮ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ.
