इत्येतल्लोकनिर्माणं ब्रह्मणा विहितं पुरा । प्रजा: समनुवर्तन्ते स्वै: स्वै:ः कर्मभिरावृता:
ity etal loka-nirmāṇaṃ brahmaṇā vihitaṃ purā | prajāḥ samanuvartante svaiḥ svaiḥ karmabhir āvṛtāḥ |
ಹೀಗೆ ಪುರಾತನಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನು ಲೋಕಗಳ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಮತ್ತು ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಧಿಸಿದನು. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ಮಗಳಿಂದ ಆವೃತರಾಗಿ, ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಾ ಸುಖದುಃಖಗಳ ಅನುಭವವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ.
