सचेतनं जीवगुणं वदन्ति स चेष्टते चेष्टयते च सर्वम्‌ । अतः: पर क्षेत्रविदो वदन्ति प्रावर्तयद्‌ यो भुवनानि सप्त

Transliteration

sacetanam jīvaguṇaṃ vadanti sa ceṣṭate ceṣṭayate ca sarvam | ataḥ para kṣetravido vadanti prāvartayad yo bhuvanāni sapta ||

Translation

ಜೀವಗುಣವನ್ನು ಚೇತನಯುಕ್ತವೆಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಅದು ತಾನೇ ಚೇಷ್ಟಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಚೇಷ್ಟಿಸಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರತತ್ತ್ವವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ—ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಜ್ಞನಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಪರನಾದ ಪರಮಾತ್ಮನೇ ಏಳು ಲೋಕಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರವೃತ್ತಿಗೊಳಿಸಿದವನು.
