अध्याय १७८ — प्राणवायुगतिः तथा शारीराग्निव्यवस्था
Adhyāya 178 — The courses of prāṇa-vāyu and the regulation of the bodily fire
ह्ियमाणोौ तु तौ दम्यौ तेनोष्टेण प्रमाथिना । ग्रियमाणौ च सम्प्रेक्ष्य मड्किस्तत्राब्रवीदिदम्,बलपूर्वक अपहरण करनेवाले उस ऊँटके द्वारा उन दोनों बछड़ोंको अपहृत होते और मरते देख मड़किने इस प्रकार कहा--
hriyamāṇau tu tau damyau tenoṣṭreṇa pramāthinā | griyamāṇau ca samprekṣya maḍkistatrābravīd idam ||
ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ಆ ಕ್ರೂರ ಒಂಟೆಯು ಬಲವಂತವಾಗಿ ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಆ ಎರಡು ಕರುಗಳನ್ನು, ಅವು ಎಳೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ನಾಶವಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ, ಮಙ್ಕಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
