इत्यूचुस्ते महाराज राक्षसेन्द्रं निशाचरा: । शिरोभशि: प्रणता: सर्वे व्याहरन्‌ राक्षसधिपम्‌

Transliteration

ity ūcus te mahārāja rākṣasendraṃ niśācarāḥ | śirobhis praṇatāḥ sarve vyāharan rākṣasadhipam ||

Translation

ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದರು— ಮಹಾರಾಜ! ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ, ಆ ನಿಶಾಚರ ರಾಕ್ಷಸರು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ತಲೆಬಾಗಿ ಶರಣಾಗಿ, ರಾಕ್ಷಸರ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ರಾಕ್ಷಸೇಂದ್ರನನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತಾಡಿದರು.
