ततः प्रदुद्रुवु: सर्वे विप्रसंघा: समनन््ततः । गौतमो<पि सुवर्णस्य भारमादाय सत्वर:
tataḥ pradudruvuḥ sarve viprasaṅghāḥ samanantataḥ | gautamo ’pi suvarṇasya bhāram ādāya satvaraḥ ||
ಆಮೇಲೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣಸಂಘಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲ ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳಿಗೂ ಓಡಿ ಹೋದವು. ಗೌತಮನೂ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಭಾರವಾದ ಹೊರೆ ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ತ್ವರಿತವಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟನು; ಹೊರೆಗೊಳಗಾಗಿ ಕುಗ್ಗಿ, ದಣಿದು, ಹಸಿವಿನಿಂದ ಪೀಡಿತನಾಗಿ ಆಲದ ಮರದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಹೋದನು.
