प्रादुर्भूतो5स्मि ते मित्र सुहृत्त्वंच मम त्वयि । सो<हं तथा यतिष्यामि भविष्यसि यथार्थवान्‌

Transliteration

prādurbhūto ’smi te mitra suhṛttvaṃ ca mama tvayi | so ’haṃ tathā yatiṣyāmi bhaviṣyasi yathārthavān ||

Translation

ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— ಮಿತ್ರನೇ, ನಿನ್ನಿಗಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಕಟನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲಿನ ನನ್ನ ಸೌಹಾರ್ದವು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ಅರ್ಥಸಿದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು (ಇಚ್ಛಿತ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವನ್ನು) ಪಡೆಯುವಂತೆ ನಾನು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸುವೆನು.
