अज्ञान–लोभयोः परस्परहेतुत्वम्
Mutual Causality of Ignorance and Greed
करिष्ये धर्ममेवेति तृतीयात् परिमुच्यते । शुचिस्तीर्थान्यनुचरन् बहुत्वात्परिमुच्यते
kariṣye dharmam eveti tṛtīyāt parimucyate | śucis tīrthāny anucaran bahutvāt parimucyate ||
“ಇಂದಿನಿಂದ ಧರ್ಮವನ್ನೇ ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ” ಎಂದು ವ್ರತ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದರೆ, ಪಾಪದ ಮೂರನೇ ಪುನರಾವೃತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಮುಕ್ತನಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿ ತೀರ್ಥಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸುವವನು, ಅವುಗಳ ಬಹುಳತೆಯ ಬಲದಿಂದ ಅನೇಕ ಸಂದರ್ಭಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚಿತವಾದ ಅನೇಕ ಪಾಪಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ।
