श्रेणीमूख्योपजापेषु वललभानुनयेषु च । अमात्यान्‌ परिरक्षेत भेदसंघातयोरपि

Transliteration

śreṇīmūkhyopajāpeṣu vallabhānunayeṣu ca | amātyān parirakṣeta bhedasaṅghātayor api ||

Translation

ಶ್ರೇಣಿಗಳ ಮುಖ್ಯರ ಮೇಲೆ ಗುಪ್ತವಾಗಿ ಉಪಜಾಪ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ, ಪ್ರಿಯರು-ಮಿತ್ರರನ್ನು ಅನುನಯದಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಸೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ, ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಭೇದನೀತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಗುಂಪುಗಾರಿಕೆಯ ಜಾಲ ಹರಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ—ರಾಜನು ತನ್ನ ಅಮಾತ್ಯರನ್ನು (ಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳನ್ನು) ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಬೇಕು.
