Apaddharma Determination: Dialogue of Viśvāmitra and the Śvapaca
सौहदेनाभि भाषे त्वां कच्चिन्मार्जार जीवसि । जीवितं हि तवेच्छामि श्रेय: साधारणं हि नौ
sauhadenābhi bhāṣe tvāṁ kaccin mārjāra jīvasi | jīvitaṁ hi tavēcchāmi śreyaḥ sādhāraṇaṁ hi nau ||
ಓ ಬೆಕ್ಕು ಸಹೋದರಾ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನೊಡನೆ ಸೌಹಾರ್ದದಿಂದ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ—ನೀನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಜೀವಂತವಾಗಿದ್ದೀಯೇ? ನಿನ್ನ ಜೀವ ಉಳಿಯಲಿ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಬಯಸುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನಿಗೂ ನನಗೂ—ಇಬ್ಬರಿಗೂ ಸಮಾನ ಹಿತವಿದೆ.
