नायं लोको<$स्ति न पर इति व्यवसितो जन: । नालं गन्तुं हि विश्वासं नास्तिके भयशड्किते
nāyaṃ loko 'sti na para iti vyavasito janaḥ | nālaṃ gantuṃ hi viśvāsaṃ nāstike bhayaśaṅkite ||
ಈ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲೇ ‘ಈ ಲೋಕವೂ ಇಲ್ಲ, ಪರಲೋಕವೂ ಇಲ್ಲ’ ಎಂದು ನಿಶ್ಚಯಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವರು ಇದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಂಥ ನಾಸ್ತಿಕನು ಭಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಶಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣನಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇಡಬಾರದು.
