स तु कामान्मृगो राजन्नासाद्यासाद्य तं नृपम् । पुनरभ्येति जवनो जवेन महता ततः
sa tu kāmān mṛgo rājann āsādya-āsādya taṃ nṛpam | punar abhyeti javano javena mahatā tataḥ ||
ಭೀಷ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ರಾಜನೇ, ಆ ಜಿಂಕೆ ತನ್ನ ಆಸೆಗಳಿಂದ ಪ್ರೇರಿತವಾಗಿ ಆ ರಾಜನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಮರುಮರು ಸಮೀಪಿಸಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ಹಿಂದೆ ಸರಿಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು; ಸ್ವಭಾವತಃ ವೇಗವಂತನಾದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮಹಾ ವೇಗದಿಂದ ಮತ್ತೆ ಮರಳಿ ಬರುತ್ತಿತ್ತು।
