त्रिवर्गमूलनिश्चयः — Determining the Roots of Dharma, Artha, and Kāma

महादेवस्ततस्तस्मिन् वृत्ते यज्ञे यथाविधि । दण्डं धर्मस्य गोप्तारं विष्णवे सत्कृतं ददौ
mahādevastatastasmīn vṛtte yajñe yathāvidhi | daṇḍaṃ dharmasya goptāraṃ viṣṇave satkṛtaṃ dadau ||
ಆ ಯಜ್ಞವು ವಿಧಿವಿಧಾನವಾಗಿ ಸಂಪನ್ನವಾದ ಬಳಿಕ ಮಹಾದೇವನು ಧರ್ಮರಕ್ಷಕನಾದ ವಿಷ್ಣುವನ್ನು ಸತ್ಕರಿಸಿ, ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸನದ ಚಿಹ್ನೆಯಾದ ದಂಡವನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದನು।
