शास्त्र ब्राह्मणमन्त्राश्व॒ शास्ता प्राग्वदतां वर: । धर्मपालो5क्षरो देव: सत्यगो नित्यगोडग्रज:
śāstra-brāhmaṇa-mantrāśva śāstā prāg-vadatāṃ varaḥ | dharma-pālo 'kṣaro devaḥ satya-go nitya-go 'grajaḥ ||
ಅವನೇ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ, ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣ ಮತ್ತು ಮಂತ್ರಗಳ ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣ್ಯವನ್ನು ಧಾರಿಸುವ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಶಾಸ್ತಾ; ಪುರಾತನ ವಕ್ತಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠನು. ಅವನೇ ಧರ್ಮಪಾಲಕ, ಅಕ್ಷರ ದೇವ, ಸತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸುವವನು, ನಿತ್ಯ ಸ್ಥಿರ—ಅಗ್ರಜನು.
