Nakula’s Counsel on Yajña, Dāna, and Tyāga (नकुलोपदेशः—यज्ञदानत्यागविचारः)
एतस्मिन् वर्तमानस्य विधावप्रतिषेधिते । ब्राह्मणस्य महाराज नोच्छित्तिविद्यते क्वचित्,महाराज! इस गृहस्थ-आश्रममें ही रहकर वेद-विहित कर्ममें लगे हुए ब्राह्मगका कभी उच्छेद (पतन) नहीं होता
etasmin vartamānasya vidhāv apratiṣedhite | brāhmaṇasya mahārāja nocchittir vidyate kvacit ||
ಮಹಾರಾಜ! ಈ ಗೃಹಸ್ಥ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದು ವೇದವಿಹಿತ—ನಿಷೇಧವಲ್ಲದ—ವಿಧಿಯಂತೆ ನಡೆಯುವ ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣನಿಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಾಶವೂ ಪತನವೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
