यावच्चासीद् बल शिएष्टं संग्रामे तन्निबोध मे । संजयने कहा--राजन्! हम और हमारे शत्रु जिस प्रकार युद्धके लिये उपस्थित हुए और उस समय संग्राममें हमलोगोंके पास जितनी सेना शेष रह गयी थी, वह सब बताता हूँ, सुनिये
yāvac cāsīd balaśreṣṭhaṃ saṅgrāme tan nibodha me |
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ರಾಜನ್, ಸಮರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಉಳಿದ ಬಲ ಎಷ್ಟು ಕಾಲ ತಾಳ್ಮೆಯಿಂದ ನಿಂತಿತ್ತೋ ಅದನ್ನು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿ. ನಾವು ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಸಜ್ಜಾಗಿ ನಿಂತೆವು, ಮತ್ತು ಆ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿ ಎಷ್ಟು ಸೇನೆ ಉಳಿದಿತ್ತೋ—ಅದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಕೇಳಿರಿ.
