ममाज्ञया द्विजश्रेष्ठ द्रोणपुत्रोडभिषिच्यताम् । सैनापत्येन भद्रं ते मम चेदिच्छसि प्रियम्
Translation
“ದ್ವಿಜಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ! ನನ್ನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯಿಂದ ದ್ರೋಣಪುತ್ರನನ್ನು ಸೇನಾಪತಿ ಪದವಿಗೆ ಅಭಿಷೇಕಿಸಿರಿ; ನಿಮಗೆ ಮಂಗಳವಾಗಲಿ. ನೀವು ನನಗೆ ಪ್ರಿಯವಾದುದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲು ಇಚ್ಛಿಸಿದರೆ.”
