क्रुद्धेन भीमसेनेन पादेन मृदितं शिर: । “आज जब मेरी जाँघें टूट गयी हैं; ऐसी दशामें कुपित हुए भीमसेनने मेरे मस्तकको जो पैरसे ठुकराया है, इससे बढ़कर आश्वर्यकी बात और क्या हो सकती है?
kruddhena bhīmasenena pādena mṛditaṃ śiraḥ |
ಸಂಜಯನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಕ್ರುದ್ಧನಾದ ಭೀಮಸೇನನು ಪಾದದಿಂದ ಶಿರಸ್ಸನ್ನು ತುಳಿದನು. ಇಂದು ನನ್ನ ತೊಡೆಗಳು ಮುರಿದಿವೆ; ಅಂಥ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿರುವ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೋಪದಿಂದ ಭೀಮನು ಪಾದದಿಂದ ತಲೆಗೆ ಹೊಡೆದನು—ಇದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯವೇನು?
