पुत्रशोकाभिसंतप्ता गान्धारी प्ररुरोद ह | इतनी बात कहकर पुत्रशोकसे संतप्त हुई गान्धारी देवी अपने मुखको आँचलसे ढककर फूट-फूटकर रोने लगीं

putraśokābhisaṃtaptā gāndhārī praruroda ha |

Translation

ಪುತ್ರಶೋಕದಿಂದ ದಗ್ಧಳಾದ ಗಾಂಧಾರಿ ಮುರಿದು ಬಿದ್ದು ಅತ್ತಳು. ಆ ಮಾತು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆಯೇ ಅವಳು ಅಂಚಲಿನಿಂದ ಮುಖ ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಆಕ್ರಂದನದಿಂದ ಫೂಟ್-ಫೂಟ್ ಎಂದು ಅಳಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದಳು.
