अन्तरिक्षचर: श्रीमान् कलशं गृहा[ देवल: । यही सोचते हुए श्रीमान् देवलमुनि कलश हाथमें लेकर आकाशमार्गसे समुद्रतटकी ओर चल दिये
antarikṣacaraḥ śrīmān kalaśaṃ gṛhā devalaḥ | iti cintayan śrīmān devalamuniḥ kalaśaṃ hastena gṛhītvā ākāśamārgeṇa samudrataṭaṃ prati jagāma |
ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು—ಆಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸುವ ಶ್ರೀಮಾನ್ ದೇವಲಮುನಿಯು ಒಂದು ಕಲಶವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡನು. ಹೀಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಶ್ಚಯಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಶವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಆಕಾಶಮಾರ್ಗದಿಂದ ಸಮುದ್ರತೀರದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಹೊರಟನು.
