सातं दृष्टवोग्रतपसं वसिष्ठ॑ तपतां वरम् । आचाोरैर्मुनिभिवद्दृष्ट: पूजयामास भारत,भरतनन्दन! उसने तपस्वी मुनियोंमें श्रेष्ठ और उग्र तपस्यापरायण वसिष्ठको देखकर मुनिजनोचित आचारोंद्वारा उनका पूजन किया
vaiśampāyana uvāca | sā taṁ dṛṣṭvogrātapasaṁ vasiṣṭhaṁ tapatāṁ varam | ācārair munibhir dṛṣṭaiḥ pūjayāmāsa bhārata bharatanandana ||
ಭರತನಂದನ! ಉಗ್ರ ತಪಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರತನಾಗಿ ತಪಸ್ವಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠನಾದ ವಸಿಷ್ಠನನ್ನು ಕಂಡು, ಮುನಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂಗೀಕೃತವಾದ ಆಚಾರಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಅವಳು ಅವನನ್ನು ಪೂಜಿಸಿದಳು.
