साब्रवीत्‌ पृथुताम्राक्षी देवं सप्तर्षिसंसदि । भगवान्‌ यदि मे प्रीतस्तीर्थ स्पादिदमद्भुतम्‌

Transliteration

sābravīt pṛthutāmrākṣī devaṃ saptarṣi-saṃsadi | bhagavān yadi me prītas tīrtha-spād idam adbhutam ||

Translation

ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು— ಆಗ ವಿಶಾಲ ತಾಮ್ರವರ್ಣ ನೇತ್ರಗಳಿದ್ದ ದೇವಿ ಸಪ್ತರ್ಷಿಗಳ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವನನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಹೀಗೆಂದಳು— “ಭಗವನ್, ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನರಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ಪರ್ಶದಿಂದ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಅದ್ಭುತ ತೀರ್ಥವು ಪ್ರಾದುರ್ಭವಿಸಲಿ.”
