वैशग्पायन उवाच पुरा कृतयुगे राजन्नार्टिषेणो द्विजोत्तम: । वसन् गुरुकुले नित्यं नित्यमध्ययने रत:
Translation
ವೈಶಂಪಾಯನನು ಹೇಳಿದರು—ರಾಜನೇ! ಪುರಾತನ ಕೃತಯುಗದಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ವಿಜೋತ್ತಮನಾದ ಆರ್ಥಿಷೇಣನು ಸದಾ ಗುರುಕುಲದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ನಿತ್ಯ ಅಧ್ಯಯನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರತನಾಗಿದ್ದನು।
